A PAIR OF TABLESPOONS, HANOVERIAN, HAVING TURNED UP ENDS AND DOUBLE DROP.  THE BACKS HAVE AN ENGRAVED CREST OF A NUDE BEARDED MAN,  GARLAND AROUND HIS HEAD, CARRYING A CUDGEL.  THIS PAIR HAS THE HALLMARK’S OF WILLIAM CHAWNER., 1762-1763.  THE SMALLER TEAS. WAS MADE BY W. G. FORBES, NY, A FREEMAN IN 1773. THESE CAME FROM THE SAME ESTATE AND APPEAR IDENTICAL.
